Win a Room Makeover from Something Different by Debbie Viola!
Do you have a room in your home in desperate need of a makeover? Sick of wallpaper or a boring white wall? Something Different: Custom Finishes & Murals by Debbie Viola is looking for the LIFamilies.com member with the space most in need of a custom faux finish!
Let’s see those outdated kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, or nurseries most in need of a decorative touch. Something Different will be raffling off a FREE custom glaze faux finish for your room (qualifying room should not exceed 12x12).
Please note that winner is responsible for removing any wallpaper and having any and all necessary repairs made to the walls before Debbie Viola comes in to apply her magic. A good faux finish is only as good as the prepared walls underneath. If there are noticeable cracks or imperfections in the walls, a faux finish will make them less obvious, but they will still be there!
The contest is open to any LIFamilies.com member who posts their photo on this thread before midnight on October 14th. Winner will be chosen at random from all of the rooms in dire need of sprucing up! Please post your photo, name of the room and dimensions of the room.
The lucky winner will get a free color consultation and portfolio viewing with Debbie before she helps give the room a fabulous faux makeover. While you’re waiting for a winner to be announced, check out Debbie’s new website at www.debbieviola.com for an idea of what this contest could do to a room in your home.

Here is my ugly 1970's flowered wallpapered kitchen. Excuse the stuff on the counters we have not had time to put it away. The kitchen is approx 12x12. I grew up in this house and both my parents have passed away, and I am trying to redo each room, room by room.DH and I are making new memories here, nothing would be better then a new look to it. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and I love to cook, so I look at it every day. This would really give it the face lift it really needs.Thanks for looking. Image Attachment(s):

We'll be converting this room into a nursery soon. Right now it's a light green (BM Prescott Green), but I'd love to jazz it up for the new baby! The room is 10x10.

After the house reno, all we did was paint DS's new room (and the BM paint was defective so it's coming off  ) and I'd really love to do something special for him. I think a mural would look great in the little alcove with the bed. It's a small room - about 9 1/2 by 11 1/2.

Here was the extra bedroom but now it will be the nursery. this 12X10.5 room hasn't been touched since we moved in over a year ago and the door is always kept closed. I would love for one room to be complete in our house. I don't have a decorating bone in my body so it will be difficult task for me to spruce up this room by February 19th.
