Window prices

Has anyone had windows installed recently? I need to re-place around 7 of them, and i am not sure if i should get andersons, pella, or royal windows..I am going to stick to a name brand, because i had cheap re-placements done a few years back, and they are terrible. Does anyone have a rec.? or has anyone recently had windows put in? If so , what kind and what did it cost? I am trying to get an idea to see if i can even afford getting them all done at the same time. TIA

We just had windows installed by Tristate recently. While they are not one of the brand names, they are replacements...They are by no means cheap either. And I believe they have a lifetime warranty. They are double pane energy star rated windows that I believe were about $400 each. We looked at andersons but decided against them. They were more pricey and from what people have told us they are over rated. If you are looking to add new windows, or put larger windows in to replace what you have andersons may make more sense. If you are just replacing existing windows, I heard replacements make more sense.
