Is there anything that you can put on a window so that it can't be opened all the way?

I like that! It's not a problem for us now because it's winter, and the windows are locked, but in the spring, we'll need something. We just replaced our small casement windows with large double-hungs. The new windows will pose a threat if they aren't locked.....

they also have ones you screw into the casement ... just google it, I know a few websites have it.
