wine bottle--party favors question

1--do you think a wine bottle or a miniature wine bottle (and chocolates) are a good favor for a 60th b-day party?

2-where would you order the wine bottles from...

3--what brand of wine do you think is a decent one, that most people would like

TIA!

Re: wine bottle--party favors question

We did mini wine bottle favors for our wedding.

We ordered them from a liquor store. I believe it was Sutter Home wine and we had several types to choose from so we got a variety.

Re: wine bottle--party favors question

We did full bottles for my wedding. I looked around at liquor store but settled on a wine a friend of a friend could get through her job.

What about looking into bottles of Cupcake - Red Velet. Its only about $8 a bottle but Im sure you could get a better price by buying cases.

We got our full-size bottles at Trader Joe's in Union Square. I think they were around $3 a bottle. (3 years ago anyway). It's the 2 Buck Chuck, I don't remember the real name. It comes in a few varieties of red and white.

We went out East & had full wine bottles from Pugliese. They even personalized the bottles for us. I think they were $7-8, 5 years ago.

Ditto
we did this for my mom's surprise 60th. We made the labels on the computer and put it over the wine bottle label. Looked great

Re: wine bottle--party favors question

you can get pindar winter white, summer blush, etc for $3-4/bottle, depending on how many you need. I've dealt with Bottle Bargains in Fort Salonga, Bottles and Cases in Huntington, and Stew Leonards in Farmingdale.
