Re: Winter babies - coming home outfit
I'm due in early November so might not be as cold as December but we're bringing her home in a sleeper with feet and a cap. We will have a a car seat cover too

Re: Winter babies - coming home outfit
My second DD was born in February. I brought a long sleeved onesie, hat, jacket and blanket.

He wore one of those 3 piece sets from carters (shirt, pants, & cardigan), socks & hat. We also used the JJ Cole car seat cover. It wasn't terribly cold when we brought him home. If it was, I would have added a blanket to the JJ Cole car seat cover.

Re: Winter babies - coming home outfit
DS was born last winter and we brought him home in a onesie and sweater outfit (pants, shirt) with a hat and socks. Then we threw a blanket over him.
No need to overdress the baby because s/he won't be out very long. DH warmed the car up and drove it right up to the hospital door so DS was outside for all of 10 seconds. Plus, babies tend to run warm.

Re: Winter babies - coming home outfit
I plan on putting my December baby in a onesie, pants, some type of long sleeve sweater/zip up, socks and a hat. I also plan to have the Bundle Me on his carseat.
