Winter fashion Pet Peeves
Now that the weather has turned chilly, I have noticed some things.
If you have a new winter coat, check out the back of it and cut the little string that holds the vent closed in the back. The string is there to hold the flaps down and straight but if you are wearing the coat with it still attached...it looks dumb.
Please cut off the tag on the sleeve of your coat that says "100% Wool" Wool isnt that uncommon anymore that you have to advertise that its wool. It looks tacky, you might as well keep the price tag on it also!
This last one is a biggie....now that the temps in the morning are in the 40's flip flops are NOT approriate! Not only does it look sloppy but you look homeless. Get a pair of shoes. Ohhh and make sure yo get a manicure...unkept toes are really gross...summer or winter!!
Anyone want to add??

yes! i have one!
people, now that it is boot season, i think it's time to get pants that really fit. you are not going clamming. if you want to wear boots, especially ones with heels, please find pants that look professional - not ones that stop three inches above your ankle!

My DH would agree with the flip flop thing. He HATES it when people wear flip flops period, but when it's cold or raining out and he sees someone in flip flops, he goes berzerk
As for me - just because they're warm and comfy, it does not mean you should wear your pajama pants out in public.

OMG.. me too!!! I HATE when people wear over-sized t-shirts and stiletto boots too. Sweatshirts are the worst... Why woudl anyone pair an Old Navy sweatshirt with a pair of heeled boots is beyond me!

one of my biggest peeves!!! your wearing a sweatshirt, put on a pair of sneakers!
any kind of sandal in cooler weather. If your wearing a coat, its too cold for sandals.

Lisa, your so right about the coat pet peeves! I've also seen ladies wearing skirts without cutting the threads on the back vent!
I'm also not loving the winter crocs, those with a furry lining  I just don;t like crocs at all - on adults. They look adorable on my kids

Okay here is the thing. Underneath my sweatshirt is very nice sweater. BUT, it is so damn cold in our office i need 2 sweaters a sweatshirt and a jacket. But when i am out and about, i never wear a hoodie with stiletto boots. I have to look good when i leave the house. Once i hit the office.....who cares, it's too damn cold in here, they should put the heat up......Very laid back here. Anyways, thats my excuse. I only do it at work

it annoys me when its 60 degrees out and ppl are bundled up-puffy jackets, scarves, hats, etc...i am usually always HOT-and i get so bothered by tis lolol
and i am one of those ppl wearing flip flops-bc i have unbearable heat lol

i'm guilty of this. i put on my new peacoat the other day and forgot to cut the string, my friend poined it out to me in work and cut if for me
