Winthrop's visiting hours
TOTALLY SUCK!
Anyone can come visit you while your baby is in the room with you all afternoon. Including your roommate's realtives and dirty snotty kids.
Good thing I'm delivering during the start of cold season!!!

completely agree.
my sister delviered there in May and we were shocked that the baby was in the room with her when we were visiting.

I guess I'm opposite. I'd be annoyed if that wasn't the case. Then again my circle of friends are respectful and we never bring kids to visit babies.
I couldn't imagine having restricted visiting hours. I guess I'm just used to hospitals outside NY that don't have visiting hours.

This is all new since DS was born! That really is crummy! Would you go for the private room?

I had no idea this was the case now. When my sister delivered there in Dec. the babies were in the nursery during visiting hours.

Southside is like this. I didn't mind, but I kept saying, what if I was trying to BF, would I REALLY want Uncle Brian to walk in and see my boobs?!?!  Anyone can come in anytime from 10-7.

I agree. I am telling people visiting hours are 6-8, except our parents & brothers/sister can come during day but everyone else 6-8 after baby goes back in nursery. Unfortunately won't be able to do anything about roommate. Maybe I will have my own room.
