Wonderful news about DH
Some of you might remember that last month DH lost his job....well he just got a call from a company and HE GOT A JOB!!! 
I feel SOOOOOO much better!!!
details to follow...he is literally on the phone with them as I post this
Ok so the job is for Time Warner Cable...he will be making slightly less than what he was making in NY, but we get free cable and internet and the benefits are amazing! Plus the job is only 10 minutes away from the house......I feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders!

The shorter commute makes up for a lot. (Gas, wear and tear, time) Plus, you have to calculate what the TV/Internet/phone would cost, and figure out what amount of salary it would take to pay for that. It's not just the cost of the service, since you would have to pay taxes on the income, then pay for the service with what was left. For $100/month service, it would be closer to $130/month salary.
