Woo Hoo! Finally, he's been arrested and hopefully there will be justice!
BELGRADE, Serbia (WABC) --
A Serbian basketball player who fled the United States after a bar brawl that left a fellow American college student hospitalized was arrested Tuesday, police said.
It was not immediately clear what charges Miladin Kovacevic faced after his arrest in Belgrade, Serbia's capital.
However, Miladin's father, Petar, told The Associated Press that his son had not been arrested, but "voluntarily went to a police station for questioning."
Serbia's police media office said that a former Serbian consul in New York also was arrested Tuesday. The ex-consul allegedly helped Kovacevic by providing emergency travel documents that helped the 21-year-old flee the U.S. last June.

My uncle works with the victim's mother. It's so awful.

WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!
I wonder how much aid the US threatened to withhold for that to happen!
either way, he BELONGS in jail. and I'm also glad that SOB diplomat who helped him escape got arrested too
