Wood vs Tile Flooring

We currently have tile flooring in our kitchen but unfortunately, due to the poor job that was done when it was first laid down, they are starting to lift. We are deciding on whether we want to stay with tile or go to wood.

Any opinions or pros/cons???

tile is harder on your feet and legs. there isn't any give if a plate or glass drops.

wood is easier on body and plates, but will scuff more.

Re: Wood vs Tile Flooring

I actually like wood in the kitchen as long as it flows through the rest of the house. We are looking to do the same thing and flow it through to the dining area and living area. As long at the wood matches the floors it is meeting I think it looks great!
