Working mommies of toddlers - breakfast question
Do you typically give your Toddler breakfast in the morning or does daycare?
If you serve breakfast, do you let them self-feed? Mornings are usually rushed for us so I prefer to feed Jake myself because it takes so much longer if he feeds himself. Just wondering what the other working mommies do.

Re: Working mommies of toddlers - breakfast question
Michael is sleeping most days when I leave so he eats with my husband or with my IL's or parents whoever has him that day... IF Michael was in daycare, I'd probably get myself ready, get him up, get him dressed and get him out and have them feed him there.

Re: Working mommies of toddlers - breakfast question
Daycare gives Caiden breakfast. They eat around 8:30am. If it's included in the tuition he's going to eat there! Unless of course he's really hungry! But that never really happens because he's on such a routine he's used to not eating until then.

Daycare serves breakfast. I will give her bottle to hold her over until we get there. Sometimes with dry cheerios if she is really hungry.

Daycare serves breakfast - but since Joseph eats breakfast before school - Maddie eats at home with him (about 6:30am) and then again at school.

Andrew eats twice -- at home and then at day care if he gets there before 8:30 am. He feeds himself.

Re: Working mommies of toddlers - breakfast question
Nate gets breakfast at daycare, but he does get a sippy cup of milk at home. If DH doesn't get him there by 8:30 am, we have to feed him. Stuff that we can dice up like toast, PB&J, french toast, and bananas, he'll feed himeself. If it's oatmeal, eggs or cereal, he'll make too much of a mess so we'll feed him.

Re: Working mommies of toddlers - breakfast question
I would have no time we are rushing. I usually give him a bottle and he eats his breakfast around 11.
He is not really a morning eater.
If I have to go somewhere on the weekends I feed him, it is much faster.
Usually yogurt or a jar.
