I work 9-5. I have a 15-minute commute, including dropping DD off at daycare.

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

Leave the house at 7:30 and drop off DC at daycare and then go to work. I pick up DS and return home anywhere between 6 and 6:30. Too long a day.

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

Thurs, Fri, Sat nights. My hours are pretty flexible so I usually leave the house between 9:30pm and 10:30pm and get home around 10am (usually). I come home earlier if I don't have a babysitter for the day, like tomorrow am. I usually sleep during the day on Friday and Saturday while my sister or SIL watch DD. Then Sunday, I just nap when DD naps, and I spend the rest of the day with her. Tomorrow, I don't have anybody to watch DD so I will have to stay up all day until my sister or DH get home so I can go to sleep.

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

My "basic" hours are 9-5. I am off every Monday & alternate weekends as well. So I have a 6 day work week, then a 4 day work week. It suxs. I do it because I have to for now.

But I can start as early as 7am and anywhere up till 9am.

Overtime is "mandatory" because of the type of work I do, so occasionally I get home later and that could be after DS goes to sleep.

I have tried to ask for some flexiblity on Friday by being able to leave on time (by 5PM) always that day because DH works will 8. I have been told it's "unacceptable"Chat Icon

But for now they keep begrudgingly accomadating it. I can not rely on anyone to pick up him. He goes to bed about 7:30ish most nights so it is "unacceptable" for me to consider leaving him later then 5:30 at the sitter.

M_F 12am-9am. I leave around 11:15pm and I am home around 10:15am.

I need to find a daycare/babysitter that can take the baby from aroud 6:30am.
I hope I can find someone that will take him/her that early. I don't need them to have the baby that late because once I get a few hours of sleep I can pick the baby up.

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

I work from 4 pm to 12 am. I spent all day with DD and DH gets home at 3 pm and spends all night with DD. I love my schedule because DD gets to bond/spend time with both of us equally :) I only work 4 days in a row an then have a day off.

2 days a week I leave the house at 7AM and get home after 6:30.

The other days I leave the house at 8AM and get home by 5PM.

The long days are a killer. If they are not up yet in the morning I usually only see them for a 1/2 hourChat Icon

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

My schedule is horrible - I barely see DD at all during the week.

We leave the house at 7:45 to bring DD to day care. I stay there for 15 minutes just so I get a little more time in.. I'm late for work almost every day.

I don't get home until 7:00. DD goes to bed at 7:30. If I work late I don't see her at all. I work late all the time because I can't afford to pass up the $$. Chat Icon

I leave the house around 8:15, drop of DD. Get to work at 8:40 and leave work at 3:30. I usually get to DD by 3:45 and home by 4. It seems like forever to me.

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

My office hours are 8 - 4 or 4:30 .......but with my commute to the city my day is 6:30AM - 6:00PM

Needless to say, I had to find a daycare w/ extended hours for Baby K in October .........

Re: Working Moms: What are your hours?

Your schedule is not too bad. I leave the house at 7:00 and am not back home until 5:30 - 6:00 pm. Its an adjustment but its not too bad. Baby likes the babysitter, spends time with his daddy and see his grandparents.
