We have a nanny 3 days/week and my parents 2 days/week ... I call both once a day at lunch and get the overall gist of the morning (sometimes the nanny goes on and on and I just want to hear "all is well" -- I can cut my mom off when she does that, but I don't want to be rude to the nanny ). My DH also calls the nanny once during the day either in the morning or later afternoon. He doesn't call my parents, though.

I stopped calling about 6 months ago....it was always the same deal..."She's fine"

My mom, MIL and cousin each watched DD on different days, and in 20 mos. I never called once! My SIL, on the other hand, would call my ILs every day for years

I've never called at all. My dad watches her and I know if something was going on, he'd call me.

Um, about once and sometimes never. Its my mom and she is a daycare center as well...so I know she is busy and also in good hands.
I only check in if she is not feeling well, like a cold or teething.
