Worried
Hi everyone, I am a poster on LIF, I am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and am keeping quiet for now, I just want to make sure everything is ok before I announce my pregnancy.
Last night, when I wiped there was a little light pink blood, I freaked out! It only happened that 1 time. I called my dr this am and he said it can happen in early pregnancy, just to take it easy and if it happens again to come in for an ultrasound. He said I shouldn't worry--but of couse I am!!! Has this ever happened to anyone else???

This happened to me, at the same time as you! It never happened again and my doc reassured me it was totally normal. Good luck with everything!!!

it didn't happen to me, but my DR told me that if it did not to be too concerned as it is normal to spot a little. Please stay calm, everything will work out.

It happened to me at the same time as you, only on the tp and then it was gone. As long as it doesn't get worse you should be fine, this is very common so try not to worry. Easier said than done, believe me I know!!

It happened to me at 4 weeks & again at 6 weeks. Everything was fine - she's 2 now.
It's hard to say don't worry because many people worry their entire pregnancies. Hang in there.

Thanks Everyone! It def makes me feel better to know some of you have had the same thing.
I just want to get to 12 weeks so I can stop getting worried over everything! I feel like I can not get fully excited b/c all I do is worry!!

It also happen to me - but first I had RED blood - only once. Went to the doctor and everything was fine. A couple of days later I had a little bit of pink, nothing the next day, but then it was back again the next day. Spoke to the doctor and they had me come in - they took blood to test my progesterone to find out it was low and needed to be put on suppositories.
If it does happen again, definitely go in and have them check your progesterone as well.

I read its very normal in the beginning! Its also very normal around the time when you AF would normally have been due. Try not to worry, I'm sure the dr will tell you the same thing and I'm sure everything is OK

This happened to me too. It lasted from week 5-6. My doc told me to take it easy and drink a lot of water.
Try to rest as much as possible and stay hydrated.
