Re: Worse Facebook offense?
I don't wish anything bad onto anyone, but I can't take the people either who always constantly have some life or death issue going on they post about then post gofundme requests. Then come back to ask everyone to share their gofundme requests when no one responds to them.

Re: Worse Facebook offense?
Been thinking a lot about the direct sales people this week.
If 1) you don't really speak to me IRL; and 2) I haven't actively sought out what you sell from me...
Then you're a pretty bad person for thinking that you can sit at home and blast me with aggressive spam and make easy money off me from afar.
It's really been striking me as rude and aggressive.

The direct sales ones that insinuate everyone else is fatally wounding themselves by not buying the products.
HOW COULD YOU NOT WANT TO BLEND EVERY MEAL INTO LIQUID FORM? YOU MAY AS WELL EAT PLASTIC.
Like, relax.

Worse Facebook offense?
"Happy anniversary to the best hubby in the world..." Many times, I have been tempted to say "Get off FB and wish him happy anniversary to his face!" Oh, and any hashtagging, especially "#blessed#."

I completely agree, being a DEMANDING direct salesperson is one of my biggest pet peeves. It's one thing to post an introductory status, and the occasional photos, but it's the constant updates, messages, texts, emails. Almost borderline harassment. I've blocked several people from my newsfeed because of this.
I actually just had this happen to me no more than 30 minutes ago with my SIL whom I haven't seen in 4 years. She messaged me on facebook asking how I am doing, says she wants to come down with my niece this summer, then casually interjects into the conversation that she is able to have the flexibility to do so because she sells wraps... Like come on now, really?

40 something's who are professionals and post pics of their happy hour drinks and brag about the shots that did well into midnight on a weeknight and they have kids!
I have one of those. She's my aunts sister. And my aunt called her on it and now she doesn't speak to her. It's so bad she broke a bone out drinking one night. Like how much do you have to drink to fall so hard you break a bone?? And just grow up. So over it
Wow!! That's awful!

Haaaaaaaa exactly. Or "my life has completely changed, it's amazing, the results are fabulous". Ummm,,, you just started it last week, and your life has changed immensely? Please. Just saw that one the other day about some snake oil, or essential oil sales pitch. It's laughable.

I'll never understand why people who don't bother to talk to me IRL try to sell me stuff constantly. I mean, do you really think I'm going to help you by buying something when you never even speak as much as 2 words to me. It's almost rude that people try to do it in the first place. I'll never forget that one person was actually writing all these personal messages on fb trying to sell me something and it was the week I had a loss in the family. Talk about bad timing, but you can't even send condolences for my loss, instead you bombard my fb with sales pitches?!? Are you serious?
Of everything that bugs me about fb, hands down direct sales annoy me the most!!!

Re: Worse Facebook offense?
Facebook should ban all direct sales. You want to hock that shit? Go do a party like in the old days. You know, the ones I would NEVER attend.....

Re: Worse Facebook offense?
Direct sales takes the cake.
I'm so sick of my news feed being full of skin before and after photos, pictures of shakeology, and those ugly bracelets. That's all I see anymore. I don't think I have any friends left who aren't doing direct sales of some sort.
I miss seeing pictures of kids and vacations and what my friends and family are up to.
It's making me want to delete my account
Second place goes to the constant attention seeker/complainers and non stop braggers.
