I SO sorry for you!!!! I'm glad he's okay.
When DS was 5 weeks old, I feel down our concrete stoop when we lived in Queens HOLDING him! I took the fall to protect him and he was perfectly fine, but it's hard to get that vision out of my head even now.

OMG, How scary?!! I'm so glad Joey is okay! Don't be too hard on yourself though, accidents happen. The important thing is that he is okay. I have had incidents happen with DS where I just keep replaying what if it had been worse.. it's just bad to beat yourself up like that!

Thanks Ladies  It's hard to not keeping think of it but I know accidents happen and he's perfectly fine THANK GOD!
We napped together this afternoon & we just went to the Huntington Holiday Parade, & had a good night.

I had a bad moment like that. I was trying to snap a picture of my daughter walking up the steps to our apartment building and she was a new walker and fell right on her face. She had a cut on her nose and I felt like ****.
It happens. I'm glad your baby is ok.

Last year, Cailen tumbled down my cousin's stairs going into the playroom with her daughters... I mean - TUMBLED like tumbleweed - rolled down, landed on the bottom step bouncing from his head... and there I was, screaming after him in stilettoes, completely powerless (and didn't even have a chance to put down my wine - mind you - I didn't even spill a drop!!!)
Trust me - these things happen - and if anyone deserved the mom of the year award, it was me! I didn't even take him to the doctor. He stood right up, cried for a minute, and then continued to the playroom!!!

Wanted to add in case anyone cares but Joey went to Dr. Cavanagh and we have since the incident have beein going to Dr. Siev and he was G R E A T today, even called later in the evening to check on Joey which I thought was above and beyond.
 I love Dr. Siev! He's a great doctor.
So glad Joey is okay. He looked fine tonight- you never would have known anything had happened. He is a tough kid. Don't beat yourself up. We both know you're a great mommy (most of the time)  kidding, kidding!

I'm glad he was ok, we all have our time for things like this.
I was his receptionist for 3yrs. I agree, he is a really good doctor.
