Worth having a nook and a kindle?
I just bought a nook about 2 months ago. I got the simple touch with glow since I wanted to be able to read it on vacation in the sun and in bed w/o bugging DH.
I won a contest at work and I had a choice between $50 and a kindle. I took the kindle since it's worth more money, and I figured DH can use it, though he's not a big reader. I was also thinking I coulf take advantage of the Amazon Prime lending library on the kindle as well as borrow from friends who are on kindle.
Do you think that's worth it, or should I just try to sell it? ETA: It's going to be a regular kindle, so basically it does the same as my nook, but doesn't light up.

Worth having a nook and a kindle?
I had the original kindle and loved it but when the fire came out I got that and gave it my original to my sister. I think it is def worth it to have both. The prime membership has great free books and some for just $.99 which is great. I miss my old kindle it was so much easier on my eyes than the fire, I am thinking of getting just a plain kindle to read on.

If you didn't pay for it I would keep it. I wouldn't buy both.

Re: Worth having a nook and a kindle?
Honestly, I think it's a waste. My co-worker bought a Nook and then won a Kindle here at work. She kept it saying she was going to use both. She's used her Kindle once and uses her Nook daily. I'd give it away or sell it.

Worth having a nook and a kindle?
I would definitely use both sometimes one has a book cheaper than the other.

Re: Worth having a nook and a kindle?
Thanks for the advice. I was on the fence but then my DH ripped it open like a little kid on Christmas, so I guess we're keeping it
