Re: Worth watching...
I saw the original w the drs before it was pulled.
I don’t understand why they don’t allow him share his information? He’s not being a conspiracy theorist. It’s not as bad as It in in NY everywhere and to be completely honest, I’m not sure the #s we are getting out of NY are totally accurate either. But that’s just my hunch lately. More numbers = more funding.
They said all we had to do was flatten that curve and we’d make moves, now that itS been flattened - no moves made.

Re: Worth watching...
I saw part of that original video with those two doctors, but a lot of what they said has been debunked.
https://thelogicofscience.com/2020/04/29/shoddy-statistics-and-false-claims-dr-erickson-dangerously-misled-the-public-on-coronavirus/?fbclid=IwAR1l4eGtasbfpHInzgZleQe58Yk40hKhKYQCyyxb5Tyy25PBjDcYIS7a5rQ
But I didn’t watch the whole thing and I’ll wait for something credible and more science based to come out.

Debunked by A blog? I don’t accept that as a credible source. Sorry.

Fair enough. I found the blog easier to read personally. The ACEP also issued a statement:
https://www.acep.org/corona/COVID-19/covid-19-articles/acep-aaem-joint-statement-on-physician-misinformation/?fbclid=IwAR0y9QGkNC5tbDwYhZ-nQv6xi5MsvDG7XpUYGzD1zbKPUzsvqQgN7mot8xo
ETA: I feel a little strongly on this one for personal reasons, but a doctor isn’t just a know all for all things. Yes, they have a basic overall knowledge, but they specialize in their field. I wouldn’t want to get heart surgery from a plastic surgeon, you know?

Re: Worth watching...
Gotcha.
I think you should watch the entire video from the drs to see that they say they get their data from their area (smaller area in CA) and use projections, etc. I’m not gonna run out and lick a shopping cart based on their findings in a small town in CA - but they make a lot of sense in what they are talking about.

Re: Worth watching...
I think the amount of censorship is ridiculous. The news wants to send us into a panic. This isn't the end to life as we know it. The antibody testing is proving what some doctors have been saying all along. The virus has been here longer than originally thought and the mortality rate is much, much lower than they originally announced. They've had limited data on this pandemic from the beginning. They release information as facts when it is most certainly opinions. Opinions formed by scientists based on the limited information they had in the beginning. Meanwhile many doctors reiterated their real life experiences with real patients and were dismissed because the "facts proved otherwise". Judge the numbers now, in some areas 25% of the population already has antibodies.
Now the news starts reporting that having antibodies means nothing and everyone is still in imminent danger. So basically to keep everyone in a panic, they are dismissing years of antibody research (the basis for the entire immunization program), to keep people thinking that we can never return to life as we knew it. Leading virologists say the chances of a healthy person being reinfected in their lifetime are incredibly slim and if it were to happen, it would be years before it did. Immune suppressed people may catch it more than once depending on a number of factors (such as age, medications, etc.) but there hasn't been any significant research yet. Mutations are expected, but again, at a much slower rate than they originally reported. This is all good news, but I guess that means nothing. People are addicted to the gloom and doom.

Re: Worth watching...
Censorship worries me. On both sides. I may not agree with something personally, but I believe in the right to have it heard. Both sides. Unless it's blatantly false, or proved to be 100%false and fake news of course. Censorship of an opinion that doesn't match the norm or that of the government is a slippery slope. That and people saying...just listen to the boss and don't question it. That is disturbing as well.

Completely agree with all of this.
I find the media’s handling of this, and the handling by many politicians, truly frightening. Never really thought I’d see some of this stuff happen in this country, to be honest.

They’re not allowing him to share his info because of the censorship that’s happening, and that has actually been happening way before covid but wasn’t as noticeable to most of the public. Anything that contradicts what the government has approved, will not be allowed to reach out to the public regardless of how much valid information they’re presented with, regardless of the credibility and expertise the person has. Sometimes it doesn’t stop here, they’ll take it one step further and fire the person, discredit him/her completely, and ruin his/her career. I’ve seen it happen many, many times. It’s like they’re taking the ability for us to choose and to discern in what to believe and what not to, the ability to use our critical thinking skills, and we’re left with just whatever they wants us to believe. Censorship should not be allowed in a free country, the more we allow the government to do this, the bigger the problems we’ll be in.

That reeks of old Communist Russia. Or dictatorships. And I am beginning to see that all the things this country was supposedly built upon- was really just all smoke and mirrors It sounds great- the Constitution, freedom of speech, etc., but in reality it's not true. And I never felt that way before. And it's sad and disturbing

My very liberal and very anti conspiracy sister & BIL are now definitely seeing it. Watching what has been going on since March is astounding to her. What went on with those doctors in California was wrong. They are doctors. Why are they not allowed to say what they are seeing in their hospital? Sometimes I worry that the government wants us to think we things aren't getting better, even if they are. I don't know what to believe anymore. The more I think about it, the more I hope my DH gets that opportunity in Italy or Spain. They have their issues to, but this...this is some scary stuff.

I urge you all to do your research here. There's a reason every other medical professional under the sun disagrees with him.
