Would an allergic reaction be red patches kind of raised looking?

Would an allergic reaction be red patches kind of raised looking?
To add to my vicious cycle of sickness Christopher broke out in this rash all over his body. In spots it looks like ring worm but it mostly looks like an allergic reaction. Can ring worm be all over the body?

Did he have a fever before? My daughter had roseola at had a rash after her febver broke.

usually it is hives which are a raised red bump in the middle with a halo around it of red. Like a bug bite.
eta- no ring worm cant do that....Did he have a fever? I agree with PP...could be roseola.

Yes he had a fever last week but it was b/c he has Croup. The fever wasn't high either. It was only 101. I looked up Roseola online and it doesn't look like Roseola. I am thinking its an allergic reaction. He is going to the doctor today.
