Would I be a bad mom to be? WWYD?
A good friend of mine is moving away monday and a bunch of our friends are kinda throwing her a going away party tonight at a local bar. its 5 mins from my house. im 13 weeks pregnant but feel weird going to a bar. But i feel like i should atleast show my face?
Should I go, say hello, stay for maybe an hour then leave
or
Just not go?
What would you do?

Totally go! Why wouldn't you!? Don't stop living, just don't drink when you are there!  When I was first PG we went out to a bar with friends and I got a 7UP with a lime, which even looked like a mixed drink!

Definitely go! You probably don't look pregnant yet, so no one will be looking at you funny, and if you don't drink or surround yourself with second hand smoke, you will be fine! I have been to bars a few times with my friends during this pregnancy, big belly and all!

ok thanks girls! there will def be NO drinking for me. ill prob be the DD for everyone haha. i just felt weird going out to a bar being pg but im not showing and ill only be there for a little while whats the harm i guess.

I'm going out with my girlfriend tonight, and I am 27 weeks. I say go for it. When the little one is born it will be a while before you will be going out anyway.

definitely go and have fun...your only issue is that you might get tired and not want to stay out too late. nobody will care that you are not drinking, just have water or gingerale or something so you have something.
I am 17w and go to a bar with my DH about once a week...he loves that I am the designated driver!

Why would you not go? You should totally go!
I don't know if you are suffering from morning sickness/fatigue. I wouldn't stay long but at least stop by, since it is so close to your house.

What would you do?
I went bowling when I was in my 9th month of pregnancy, and HAPPILY drank an O'Douls (non alcoholic beer).... it was so much fun to feel like a normal non preggo me!
ETS: Stay for longer than an hour.... Stay the WHOLE time if you can! Trust... once the baby is here, you will have wished that you did more normal things that you had the time for! I know that I wish I had!

Definitely go. I went out with DH and with friends my entire pregnancy and had no issue with it. As long as you're not drinking ti doesn't make you a bad mom-to-be to socialize. Go and have fun!

If the bar is smoke free - stay the ENTIRE TIME (or until you're too tired)...if the bar allows smoking -i wouldn't stay more than 2 hours tops....but that's just me...

I went to a bar 9 months pregnant! Sure, I got a few looks....but I was able to cut the lines at the bar to get my water!!! The bouncers were very protective of me.
Go for it!!!
