I went to happy hour with co-workers 2x to celebrate something while I was pregnant. I was 31 weeks the 1st time & 36 weeks the 2nd time. I drank sprite & water. I stayed until the bathroom trips started to annoy me, which was about 2 1/2 hours each time.

I went out to a bar around 8 months preggers. I was called a trooper by everyone. My friends just set me up in a stool and kept the gingerales flowing.

I recently came across a similar situation...but I am over 30 weeks preggo and SHOWING. My good friend celebrated her birthday at a bar and I wanted to go, but felt very uncomfortable about walking in there.....and besides I was very tired. I would say GO....but only if your comfortable!!

I agree, don't stop living your life and doing the things you enjoy like spending time with friends. I went to a bar this weekend, sipped soda and went home when I felt tired.

At 13 weeks, I would definitely go. You don't have to stay long. I only felt weird going to a bar after I started to really show.

I went out to bars with my friends quite a few times during my pregnancy. I usually stayed out pretty late too. I always made sure to go to a place where I could sit since it got uncomfortable to stand for a very long time. I don't see anything wrong with going out while pregnant.

go...why not? don't drink obvously but it won't hurt you to go...we went with friend to fla and went clubbing at 18 wks with first dd and she was fine...she even "danced' along to th emusic....
