Would you bring DC to a birthday party

wearing a "Birthday Child" t-shirt when it WASN'T their birthday?

This didn't happen to me, but I asked. It was a third birthday party

ETA-AND it was the same one the Birthday Child had on too

The mom came in and said to my BFF (it was her nephew's birthday) "Oh I bet Q has this shirt too" and laughed!!!

I actually asked my BFF to ask (she was texting me during hte party) if the kid insisted on the shirt and she said it didn't seem that way

That's like the child's equivalent of wearing a white dress to a wedding.

Inappropriate IMO.

The only thing that could make it acceptable, and this is a stretch-- is if the kid just had his party, and he threw a tantrum about wearing the shirt. If that was the case-- the parent should have maybe at least said something to the birthday child's parent and explained to avoid well, a post like this!!
