Would you buy a used bathing suit?
I was just looking around on Poshmark and I see that they offer a TON of pre-worn bathing suits.
I don't know, but to me, that's like selling your used underwear.
You are wearing that with nothing between it and your bare lady bits.
I would never want to wear a bathing suit that wasn't brand new.
No washing in the world would make me feel comfortable wearing a used swimsuit.
But then again, I guess you never know if someone tried on the brand new bathing suit before you bought it, and I always do wash them before wearing but still... something about KNOWING another person wore it all season long- I don't know, it just kind of skeeves me more than the POSSIBILITY of someone trying it on real quick.
Thoughts?

That's a big NOPE for me. Yuck!! You probably wouldn't catch some weird disease if you washed it, but that still skeeves me out.

And yet, people are selling them on these sites like there is no tomorrow.
I would never even think to sell a bathing suit I was done with. I wouldn't even offer it to my sister to be honest.

I don't think I've ever bought used clothing of any kind, but used shoes, underwear and bathing suits - NO THANK YOU

with that said...
HELL TO THE NO!
a very, very close friend once told me that her daughter was wearing her panties. i almost threw up in my mouth.
i'm also very particular about laundry.
no one does my laundry. no one's laundry (except SO's) should ever be mixed with mine.

LOL me too.
I try them on with my underwear on.
It's not the best look, but I get the general idea if I like it and if it fits before I rip the tags off and wash it!

LOL me too.

Absolutely no
Have you ever tried one on and have that stupid sticky thing come off and stick to your thigh? I have and I almost threw up all over the place! You KNOW people try on without underwear and the thought of what has been on that thing makes me want to hurl

I have for myself and my daughter and don't really care what anyone thinks about it. That's what hot water and soap is for. There are far more gross things that many people do that are far worse for your health.
FYI, not everyone trys on a bathing suit with their underwear on and that paper strip is useless. Look up the Huff post all about it.

If you buy used clothes then it’s no big deal as long as it’s washed and in good condition. I mean people go commando all the time, so if you buy used pants it’s the same thing.
I don’t buy used clothes so it’s a no for me but I don’t see the big deal.
