I can't remember if I got my makeup done. I know I wanted to - but now I don't have the slightest clue if I did.

Re: would you/did you get your hair/makeup done for DD's Christening?
Nope. DD and DS's Christening is not and was not very formal. I would have looked silly with my hair all done up and a ton of makeup on. I don't wear any makeup really to begin with.
For me, it would have been a waste of money. And I wouldn't have any time. Getting them ready and myself and setting up for the party and getting to the church on time

I would prob get my hair blown out but do my own makeup. But if someone got their makeup done, that would be cool too

Re: would you/did you get your hair/makeup done for DD's Christening?
For me, probably not. I'm not a frilly type of person and even did my own hair and makeup for my wedding. What i would do though is get my mani/pedi and any other normal hair things i needed like a color, highlight or cut.

I didn't necessarily have it done, but I had my gf blow out my hair for me.
I did my own make up.

Re: would you/did you get your hair/makeup done for DD's Christening?
If I was having a big party - sure, why not? I cut my hair cut the morning of DS's christening so I got my hair blown out nice - didn't get my make- up done but we had just a medium size party. I would definitely get a blow out and if I was having a party where being made up wouldn't stand out or if I could get it done natural - why not? It's nice to look nice for big occassions! I've gone to many parties brisses, christenings etc where the mom had her hair and make up done!

I say if you want to go for it. Getting your hair done always makes you feel better. Even if i's just a simple blowout.

Re: would you/did you get your hair/makeup done for DD's Christening?
I was going to get my hair done (blow out) but it was such a hot and humid day so I didn't, I put it up right away since it was outside, my makeup I did myself.
