I still have my diamond nameplate from the 80's. and while I wouldn't sell it, I would probably never wear it again.

I have that too!
I would never wear mine (ok I already planned on wearing it to the NKOTB concert! ) because its yellow gold and no longer my style. BUT I would never sell it either - its a piece of jewelry from my mother.

I have the double name plate from when Dh and I dated. It had diamond chips on it and is really pretty. BUT....this is the only time I broke that baby out of the jewelry box!

I *BEGGED* DH for that necklace but he called them "license plates" and he would never buy me one! I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know, I still wear my diamond name plate - it means a lot to me but I guess its dated
