Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
I wouldn't change it, but I have a stone on each side of my center stone...so I can see the appeal to that Lana! I bet it would look awesome!

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
I have a super modern whitney boin setting and sometimes think about changing it to something more classic and more BIGGER...
maybe with my next husband

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
Absolutely! I'm not sure why some people are so judgemental when others do so or why they're so attached to it. It's a ring...changing the setting, not the marriage!
I wanted to change my setting for the longest because even though it's what I wanted, I don't like how it was set. I got totally used to it for now, but who's to say I won't change it for an anniversary? Luckily my DH could care less. He bought me the ring & wanted me to be happy with it, after all.

I agree, I've been thinking about this for a while. I will eventually change it.

I'm curious at what others think. I have a solitaire and an eternity wedding band. I think it would be nice to in the future add a diamond to either side of my e-ring. Thoughts?
i actually want to...
i have the Lucida band and it is imo it is tooo much metal
so i still want a Solitaire but a thinner band
Yeah...Lucida is stunning...but I've always liked a thin band. Mine's pretty thin. But Lucida is GORGEOUS.

i don't want to say no, b/c my style may change, but i love my ring
right now I feel the same way- my ring is classic but styles do change over time and Jake said he would never want my ring to look "dated"
I would never change my wedding band- but maybe add another band as an anniversay band
we have also talked about me getting a bigger center stone in the future- so we'll see what happens
but for now I am very happy with my rings- but I can't say that wont change in 10 years

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
I wouldnt. I dont wear mine too much these days with the kids and all but I had it on recently and was admiring it all over again. I can see though how you might want to add something to a solitaire.

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
I did and a good part of me misses the old setting. DH had my setting made and he wasnt happy with the way the side diamonds were set but he gave it to me anyway and had another ring being made in the mean time (the same style setting). When I saw the new setting the side stones were very big and my center stone is big to begin with so the whole front of my finger was all diamonds which I didnt like. After looking for months for a wedding band to with my new setting DH said we should change it and now I have the Lucinda setting but not from Tiffany's. I loved my orginal setting and looking back I shouldnt have changed it because I never saw the flaw that DH saw in the setting anyway. Maybe one day I will switch it back

Aww, I don't think the guys should get upset; you have to wear it! I guess some guys are more sentimental than others!

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
Id never change it. DH was too excited about it when he gave it to me and I love it the way it is.
I do have a plain platinum band and he knows I want an eternity band. I have a great anniversary gift to look forward to.

NO!!!! Not too much metal!! Embrace the Lucida!! I love the style of this ring. I requested a heavy band, because I'm tall and don't have dainty little hands. And I love that it's not the usual, common solitaire that you see everywhere.

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
Yes, I would.
I want a more vintage looking setting and we really couldn't afford what I wanted at the time. Maybe in a few years.

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
funny.... many of you say that you want less metal in your e-rings. My jeweler was trying to convince me to go with a thinner band when I change my setting since less metal means more eye on the bling I can definitely see his point now.

Re: Would You Ever Change Your E-Ring Setting?
No, I love it and it is exactly what I wanted.
I am sentimental about it too. It is the ring DH proposed with and it is the one I wore when I was married, so I wouldn't change it. If I wanted something else, I would just get another ring.
