im thinking about it, just because i don't have anyone to go with and i don't want to stay home tonight.

yes I have no one wanted to see Maria full of grace so I went bymyself- really when you go to a movie you are sitting there quiet watching the movie, so having someone there doesnt really matter.
it was great me time!
I say go for it and enjoy!

Sure. I used to do this all the time, especially in college.
I was a film major -- I couldn't convince my friends to always go see movies with me, as I just saw too darn many of them.
I actually like going alone, though I haven't done it in a while.

Nope. I'd feel funny, but I guess I'm a spaz that way.
It's like going out to dinner alone. I hate having to do that when I travel alone for business.

I went to see Mona Lisa Smile by myself. It was the only time i ever did, but it was peaceful, and didnt feel all that different b/c its not like i talk to anyone during the movies- and it was better in a way because i hate dragging DH to those types of movies b/c then i dont enjoy it as much.
But, he still makes fun of me to this day b/c of it

movies sure cause its not like you'll be talking to anyone anyways.
but i dont do eating out in public alone. i need to always talk lol, and i cant sit through a whole meal by myself.

I used to do it all the time, I just don't go to the movies as much anymore in general. I like it - no one talks to me and I can really enjoy the movie.

i have, once. i splurged on an imax movie in the city. i enjoyed myself but i hated not having anyone to talk about it with afterwards.
