Sure!
Done it plenty when I first moved out of state and didn't know anyone. 1st time was weird but it was great after that.

I don't think twice when I see someone sitting alone at the movies, but I still don't have the nerve to do it.

I actually did this once- I had so much time to kill between having a half day at work and then had to stay in the city for a class....so I went to see Rent by myself. Wasn't so bad...I always thought it would be so lonely!! I actually have seen Broadway shows by myself too (can't remember if it was one or two - very last minute choices when I lived in the city)!! oh yeah and I think I went to one Yankee game by myself..I was dying to see how the third game of a Red Sox/Yankees series would turn out- SO worth it. My husband has NO probs with this...he'll do anything alone! Even go to a bar! Now that I can't do!

absolutely and I have...especially when I was pregnant!
same here. We were staying in Myrtle Beach for 8 weeks, living in a hotel while DH worked nonstop. I went to the movies solo a few times each week.

yes, i've done it several times. it feels weird at first when you walk in, but once you sit down and the movie starts it's fine

my husband works late some nights so if i have off i usually go by myself. I'm actually about to go see definetely, maybe right now by myself. It's fun but ***** at the end when you can't discuss the movie with someone

i remember i went to see Elf alone - i was at the Broadway mall and i had time to kill.
it was fine except when a part was funny i would look next to me to see if mu husband is laughing with me, but he was not there.
But otherwise, it was fine- especially in the day

I would go, I have gone alone and when I started to pay attention, I noticed a lot of people who go to the movies alone, especially during the day.
I couldn't go out to eat alone, but I have no problem going to the movies alone.
