Would you leave negative feedback for a seller in this situation?
I ordered a personalized diaper cover on Etsy on 1/24. I followed up with the seller a bunch of times since then asking about the status and it was excuse, after excuse. Death in the family, sickness, etc.....It was finally shipped yesterday 4/16.
Would you leave her negative or neutral feedback?

yes...three months is unacceptable especially if you had to chase them for updates. Since the item is personalized, I can see taking 4-6 weeks beyond that the listing should be clear about how long it would take.

importantly, what was her shipping time on the order? 5-6 days or 4-6 weeks?
going along, was she communicating and you were okay with her delays or there was no communication at all?
If you were acknowledging her delays, I would give neutral (because the length of time was still excessive)
If she said nothing all along and it took this long to ship I would give negative as she did not hold up her end of the sale when she posted her delivery time.

Unless she stated to expect 3 months for delivery, I would. If she was that ill I would have imagined that someone would have been helping her out and would have run to the PO for her.

I would leave feedback as the others suggested. Am still waiting for my own pillow covers, it's been nearly 3 weeks and still nothing!
Never getting stuff from etsy again, esp. if the sellers continue using USPS to ship! :P

I wonder if we have the same seller!! I bought one off etsy late Feb and still haven't got it - and I can't even figure out how to complain. I've tried e-mailing several time with no replies. Was it Jacqueline something...??

I would. Just went through something similar with a seller on Amazon and I left negative feedback. I never did get the product though and he keeps emailing me that he'll send it to me free now if I remove the feedback.
