yes i would. but this is 1 of the reasons we dont tell people the names we are thinking about until AFTER we give birth!  the kid is here already so they have to deal with it. ha ha!

I would and am. There is at least one person on each side of the family that doesn't like our names but I don't really care, it's my child and not theirs. My SIL named my niece Violet, most people did not like it in the beginning (including myself) and now we could not imagine her having any other name. You can't please everyone, please yourselves
I LOVE the name Violet!! DH vetoed it 
I love it now too, it's so cute!

This is why we didn't tell anyone the names we were considering
we didn't want to hear anyone elses opinions on a name we liked just incase it made us second guess the name.
i'm glad we didn't because i can't imagine DS with any other name (and it took us forever to agree on it, he wasn't named until a few hours after he was born!)
don't let their opinions sway you - name your child whatever YOU guys want to!

I dont care what anyone else thnks, except DH and would name our baby what we want. Went through that with my DS and his sperm doners family.

Yes.
They will love the baby, even if his/her name was poop.
(probably not but I never really heard of anyone to not like a baby simply because of its name...that was just used for exaggeration lol), please don't name your baby poop!).

I wish I could but ultimately DH went with a traditional boys name that everyone liked. For the next one, if its a boy (since our girls name they love), I would try to keep it to ourselves,

Yes. Some of my family didn't love DS's name at first, but it grew on them. I only care about finding a name that DH and I like.
