Would you send a 2 year old on a field trip?
My DS goes to camp at his nursery school. Once a week the camp goes on an offsite trip (bowling, LI Children's Museum, Queens Zoo, bounce place, etc.)
I just feel like 2 is too young. Admittedly, I am a nervous Nelly with this stuff.

I would not. They require so much attention at that age. I would not feel comfortable with a group of them going off premesis for a fieldtrip.

Nope. But I'm the mom that drives my 4 year old to camp and don't put her on yhe bus.
I see no reason for my 2 yo to go on a field trip.

OK, good. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. He seams like the only kid in the group who doesn't go. I'm just not ready.

I wouldn't. Our daycare camp doesn't take kids on trips until they are in Pre-K.
And the kids that are in the Pre-K program, only get to go on one trip where they ask parents to help chaperone (so it's generally 2 kids for each adult).

Probably not. I know when I was a camp counselor for that age we did bowling, and library (literally across the parking lot), and carvel and firehouse (literally across the street). Those places were not crowded so we could very easily keep track and we weren't dealing with buses so something like that I may consider -it was also a very small camp so there were probably only 15 kids total so it wasn't a massive group to keep track of either .
