I absolutely would switch. Doctors are not God nor are they in my everyday affairs, or should they be. I think its inappropriate for him to have even said anything or made a comment like that. It would have upset me enough to switch. DOn't know where you go but if you like the practice maybe there is another doctor you could start seeing.

Wow, I'd be mad. If you don't really know him, for him to say that, not right. Is it only him there? If so I'd switch too. Who is he to judge you?

yeah... that would def bother me. Now adays both parents need to work in order to provide for their children.... You prob feel gulity enough that you arent w/ your son and now this ignorant person makes you feel even worse. Its not right that the Dr. said that to you. I would prob switch peds ( but that s just me) I wouldnt need to hear this kind of crap from anyone!

That's crazy that he said that, especially these days when it's soo common for both parents to work. I would go to him again, but if you feel uncomfortable, switch.

I actually would switch doctors over this. We have one doctor at our ped that I will NEVER see again because of comments that he made that I was not happy about.
