Wow.. I can't believe it
There's a little girl who has been in class with Alex from the beginning - Ava - they're good friends and play around all the time.
Whenever I drop off Alex and pick her up, I usually run into her mom and we end up chatting for a while. I just ran into her on Friday - she asked for ideas on what to feed her daughter because she was running out of ideas, so we talked for a while about it.
DH found out today when he went to pick up Alex that Ava's mom died yesterday - suddenly and unexpectedly from an aneuryism. She leaves behind the most adorable children - Ava, who is Alex's age, and her son, who is around 4 years old.
I've seen her with these kids all the time - they only come 3 days a week, and spend 2 at home with mom, and are always attached to her hip. I'm just so devastated for them... it's so awful

OMG how horrible. It's things like this that make you really think about what's important. I am very bad at getting caught up in all the unimportant stuff. I'm so sorry for her DH and children.
