Wow, if this isn't inspiring I don't know what is
I don't ever post stuff like this, but it was very moving......
PLEASE READ STORY FIRST
A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?" The
father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'.
They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his sons request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked hisfather, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together."
To which, his father said 'Yes' too.
For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever.
The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along thecoast of the Big Island. Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Ok wow- I will not ruin it for anyone else but I was like crazy. I am getting some hard tests done tomorrow,..and needed to watch that. THANK YOU!

That has to be THE most touching thing I have ever seen in my life. I also saw them on Oprah...

They were wonderful on Oprah, I just remember crying and crying while I watched.
The dad does it because he can hear a different sound of happiness from the son that only happens when they are racing.
They race a crazy amount...like almost every weekend.
not much would ever make DH cry, but he can't handle these 2 at all.

I saw the father speak at a conference last year. There was not a dry eye in the place. They are amazing!
