Wrapping Christmas presents...

In the past, I've frantically wrapped my gifts Christmas Eve and they're lucky if they get a tag on 'em. Chat Icon

Re: Wrapping Christmas presents...

I wrap them as I buy them.

But right now we are having the Great Scotch Tape Stand Off of 2006.

DH SWEARS there is Scotch tape in the house and "forbids" me to buy more. (I'll admit I have a habit of buying things we already have and we wind up with 17 of them.)

So I am waiting for him to find it for me. He's searched every room and can't find any. But he refuses to give up.

We have $20 riding on whether he can find any in the house or not.

Then I'll take his 20 and buy 17 rolls of Scotch Tape!! Chat Icon

Re: Wrapping Christmas presents...

I don't do bows or ribbons. Just the wrapping and I wrap when I buy them, so no one can peak.

Re: Wrapping Christmas presents...

I wrap them all at once the night before Christmas eve, but not in a frantic rush. I put on a Christmas movie or Christmas music and DH and I sit on the floor and wrap all the gifts. I wouldn't have it any other wayChat Icon

Re: Wrapping Christmas presents...

I will end up doing a big wrapping night (or 2!) I fuss more with the adult gifts when it comes to bows and toppers, the kid gifts are less fussed with but I still cant give a gift that is bow-less. I love wrapping gifts.

I can't deal with wrapping a few things at a time so I do it all it once, or try to anyway.

I have all the supplies tucked away and it's a PIA to pull everything out each time.

I usually leave it to the last minute every year.Chat Icon
Also every year, I tell myself that it is going to be different next year; that I will do them little by little.
Never happens, though.Chat Icon

I did a few nights of wrapping, so I'm not overwhelmed towards the end.

I will wrap them a week or so before Christmas so they can look pretty under the tree for a while. I go all out with ribbons and bows. I actually love wrapping. Oh wow I just found something I am good at!!!

I am a wrapping nut. Same paper with a gorgeous bow and pretty tag. I think I spend more on paper than some gifts!!!

I didn't vote, since what I do is not on there. I wrap all the presents a week before Christmas. Sometimes I add a bow!

Unless I'm putting something in a gift bag, I wait until I am completely finished Christmas shopping and I will wrap all my gifts at once.

Gifts for adults... always go in gift bags... so much easier.

Gifts for the kids... I wrap in spurts.

This weekend I wrapped/bagged everything bought so far.

Re: Wrapping Christmas presents...

I wrap them basically all at once, but not on Christmas Eve and not with bows.

I also have to wrap the kids' gifts in different "Santa" paper and Santa writes in BLOCK where I write in script. I wonder if they even notice.
