wrong way driver...way too close to home.
For the second time this month a driver was arrested in my town (East Meadow) right off of the major road I live on (Hempstead Turnpike).
It's so scary because it hits too close to home. DH and I both drive on Hempstead Turnpike EVERY DAY, multiple times a day.
It just gets me angrier and angrier...and scares me.

This past week, in Lancaster Co., Pa. a wrong way driver caused a four vehicle pile up, as well as died. Mary

it is horrible. they also had this problem with all that was going on in the Shirley area today. I was listening to the scanner and when i heard it , it freaked me out.

I swear it is like they are doing this on purpose now. Honestly, until that one on the southern state and teconic I rarely if ever heard of these wrong way drivers. It is like they are doing it for publicity...although I can't imagine someone being THAT dumb. I just don't get it.

It is absolutely terrifying . This is becoming and epidemic in Long Island.... The laws should be stricter.
