WW meal plan question
Hi !
Just started looking into WW and see that there are 2 diff meal plans the Core and the Flex. I'd really love to hear some of your experiences with these, I'm not sure which one would be best for me.
TIA!

Re: WW meal plan question
On Core, you eat until you feel satisfied from a specific list of foods, no measuring or counting points. Food includes lean meats, fat-free dairy products, fruits, veggies and limited amounts of whole grains - think South Beach-ish.
On Flex, no food is off limits but everything has a points value and needs to be measured out accordingly.
On both programs, you do get 35 extra points per week to use how you please, so if you do Core you can use those points on non-core foods.
For me, I do flex but I try to use most of my points on Core food. Core foods are obviously healthier choices, but I can't trust myself not to overeat even healthy food so I make sure to measure and count my points.
Hope that helps! Good luck!

Re: WW meal plan question
I started with flex and didn't try core till about a year later. Now I go back and forth. If I find I am eating too much processed junk or not enough protein and veggies I switch back to core. In the beginning I didn't eat as healthy as I do now. Now that I normally eat core foods, core really works for me because I don't ever feel hungry and I like being able to eat whenever I want.
I personally would try flex in the beginning to get used to portions, weighing and measuring. Also it will be easier to get adjusted to weight watchers if you're trying to fit it into your lifestyle.
Don't be scared to try core though later on. You're can go back and forth if you like so I would give them both a try.
Good luck!
