Welcome!

Low Point Snacks: veggies, pretzles, Weight Watcher snack bars, low fat popcorn, fruit

Lunches: lite tuna made with lite mayo on Weight Watchers bread, Lean Cuisine meals, salads with low fat dressing on the side, egg whites with veggies.

If you join ww online also (they'll give you a coupon at your meeting for a discount) there are mesage boards with meal ideas and recipes as well as support and tips.

Re: WW weekly weigh in

Hmmm...

If you take lowfat choc gram crackers and cool whip free...sandwich them together, and freeze them... they taste JUST LIKE ice cream sandwichs....(Depending on how big you make them- its like 2-4pt snack)

Fatfree/ sugarfree jello with cool whip free is yummy- and no points!!!

Those 100 cal goldfish (the choc or gram ones are soooo yum) 2pt.

Choc. choc. chip rice cakes with a teaspoon of natural pb is like 2 pts and also delicious!

Re: WW weekly weigh in

Im down another .5 - not much but at least it's something (I find myself saything this alot these days!)

nov04libride - for a month now Ive been eating the same lunch and its 3-4points: I bring turkey (1 deli slice), low fat cheese, lettuce/tomato on reduced calorie multi grain bread(only 1 point for 2 slices) w/ a little bit of light mayo and mustard

snacks - I'll have a Nabisco's 100 calorie snack pack or Pop Secret 100 cal bag of popcorn - 2 points and lately Ive been eating more fruit instead which is usually 1 point.

sugar free jello w/ fat free coolwhip is like 1 point too.

Good luck! :)

ETA for breakfast and sometimes as a snack I have low sugar oatmeal (2 points) or 3 egg whites (1 point)

Re: WW weekly weigh in

Here are some the my staples on WW

Snacks -

Any of the 100 calorie packs (2 pts)

Soy Crisps - white cheddar or BBQ (18 chips for 2 pts)

Sargento light string cheese (1 pt)

Fruit tray from grocery store or Costco - great way to have fruit for the week.

1 3/4 c strawberries w/FF cool whip (1 pt)

WW yogurt (1 pt) or Dannon Lit and Fit yogurt (2pts)

Lite laughing cow cheese wedge on toasted WW english muffin (2 pts) - I use the cheese in place of cream cheese.

For breakfast -

3 egg whites w/diced mushrooms, tomatos, green peppers and onions (1pt), Kraft 2% single (1pt), 3 slices of canadian bacon (1pt). If I want bread I'll make an english muffin

I Can't believe it's not butter spray (0 pts for 5 sprays) - great for toast, waffles, baked potatos, etc....

Eggo Special K 97% FF waffle (1 pt each)

Aunt Jemima Butter Lite syrup (2pts for 1/4 cup)

WW bagel with lite lauging cow cheese (3 pts)

For Lunch -

Any Lean Cuisine. Panini's are great for lunch

Oscar mayer Deli thin smoked turkey (5 slices for 1pt), Kraft 2% singles (1pt for slice) on WW english muffin (1pt) or LaTortilla Whole wheat tortilla (.5 pts for one). If I use the tortilla then I fill it up with lettuce and tomatos then put it in the microwave for a few seconds so the cheese melts.

For Dinner -

Perdue Homestyle breaded chicken cutlets (2 pts)

Walden Farms salad dressing (0 pts for 2 Tbsp)

Trader Joe's frozen stuff are great low pt options for dinner

Another .6 week I am losing my motivation and feeling bad!!!!!!

Ate a few "bad " things this weekend at a bridal shower and then this morning D&D put half & half in my coffee instead of skim and I didn't realize it until I drank almost half. Not starting on a good note this week I am struggling but still trying and I will be on the wagon from here on in!!!!!!

Sorry to vent.

week 10 - 24.8lbs gone.

Meri, You are doing awesome. Almost 25lbs in 10 weeks is fantastic.....At this point in the program, the weight is gonna come off slower and that is what you want bc you have a better chance of keeping it off. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Have you looked back at your food journal to see what you ate during the weeks where you had good loses? Maybe introduce some different foods or exercise, it may help jumpstart your metabolism.

You're doing great though. You are averaging almost 2.5lbs a week.
I had a tough weekend as well.

I thought I would have a decent loss this week at least a pound but I was only down 0.5. Saturday was a tough day but I didn't go crazy or anything. I have never had such a hard time losing weight since I had my daughter and I'm BFing. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
I'm not going to give up though. A loss is better than a gain. Chat Icon
