WWYD - Daycare related?
Up until now daycare has been pretty flexible with our schedule. He started out as 3 days a week for more than a year. Then two months ago we went to 4 days... Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri. My MIL watches him on Thursday. Well, she now has been switched to work on Thursday and has Friday's off to watch him. But when I notified daycare of the schedule change they said they couldn't accomodate it because they're full on thursday.
There is the potential that I'm stuck now if MIL can't switch back or if the owner doesn't approve the addition. I believe they max at 15 but I think the ratio is 6:1 at his age so they technically could take him. If neither of those happens I don't know what I would do.
I would hate to have to switch daycares altogether but not sure what else I could do. Hopefully they'll squeeze him in.
WWYD? I need some brainstorming help.

Re: WWYD - Daycare related?
If for some reason they can't fit him in at this time ...is there a waiting list. If there is can you find a sitter for one day a week until the day-care can accommodate you?

Re: WWYD - Daycare related?
Would they be able to take him in another classroom & still be within ratio?

Re: WWYD - Daycare related?
the only way they can fit him in is to move someone up...he's too young for the next class and too big for the younger class.
At worst it'll be a temporary situation (like a month) so that's why I'd hate to have to make totally new plans. I kind of think they're going to accomodate. The owners have always been good to me. Just brainstorming if in the event that they can't.
MIL claims she'll work it out on her end (she's a saint sometimes) and then I can juggle on my side too.
I'm sort of calmer about it now. It'll work itself out.
Thanks!
