WWYD - gift sent to wrong person

So I registered on Amazon and it shows you who purchased a gift. I was looking over my registry before I send my shower invites out and saw that something was bought - we didn't even tell anyone we registered there. So someone bought a gift, but it is a person that I do not know. I think they ordered from the wrong person's registry. I have the person's name and address through Amazon. What would you do?

I would send the email. It couldn't hurt and they will probably be really thankful that it was caught early.

Did you receive it yet? Sometimes amazon marks something as bought because someone was looking at your registry and bought it, but it doesn't get sent to you.

I had some people buy items off amazon for my shower from my registry, and they shipped them to their own homes and brought them to the shower. In fact, most people did that.

So until you receive it in the mail, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just add another of whatever it was to your registry.

also - i did have people buy off the registry before I said anything. . and for one of mine it did look like someone I did not know but ended up being the daughter of my mom's friend who must have done the purchasing for her. . it can't hurt to send an email or you could just wait and see. .
