WWYD?

ok... so i'm an SLP at a school in NJ. I worked for the district i live in for 3 years ,but then was not given tenure ( i had basically all good observations, i think it was mostly just a "we don't want to give out tenure" thing).
I've since been in a couple other districts. The district i was in last year verbally let me know that i had a position for this coming school year. BUT they are disorganized, and never had me sign any kind of contract. SO i've been being cautious and keeping my eye out for something closer to home.
ANYWAY- the district i live in (that didn't give me tenure) hires SLP to do summer testing. So i did that the passed 2 summers. I was just on their website and saw that they are hiring an SLP for next year. its an all new administration since i worked there. Should I apply??? or would it be too weird to go back to a district that let me go?? ( like i said, its not like i caused any problems there... it seems like it was mostly a not wanting to give tenure thing)

I'd just apply- it can't hurt. Worst that happens they don't hire you.
