WWYD? Bad Cold Cuts
So - I was very bad this week. After my FIL's funeral my MIL had everyone back to the house for food. She got a cold cut platter and I actually didn't eat any (although I feel like eating it in moderation is just fine). However the next day (Friday) we went over there and I made myself a sandwich. Half way through it I was like "*** is that smell". Turns out the meat and cheese were ALREADY bad. MIL's refrigerator wasn't cold enough and noone noticed. I threw it out instantly but still
I feel so guilty. I finally caved and ate stupid cold cuts and with my luck they were bad 
I dont know if I feel sick to my stomach bc I am or bc I cant stop thinking about it

no worrying until there is something to worry about it like my mama always said and NOTHING IS WRONG... YOU and LIL BEAN ARE GOING TO BE OK . but now you know this makes you crazy so you should avoid this food in the future bc the stress is too much.

I think if you were going to have gotten sick from it you would have totally gotten sick by now.
Usually food poisioning and listeria like that comes on rather quickly after eating contaminated food.
I think you are safe at this point...

Did you have a fever? i think listeria comes with a fever.

I agree with everyone else- if you were only sick on Saturday- then most likely the bacteria is out of your system and you and the bean will be fine- if you feel unsure though, call your doctor- thats what they are there for
