WWYD? (Buying leftover things from registry)

We have a few large items left on our registry, but received some gift cards/money

The only stroller we currently have is the snap'n'go

left on our registry in the MacLaren Quest

and the BOB revolution stroller

and the glider

So the glider we can get cheaper somewhere else rather than BRU (I think)

so should we buy the BOB revolution stroller then? Because the MacLaren is a lightweight one for when baby is slightly older?

Also, we never got car seats for when baby is 1yr+ (we just have the infant car seat), so should we wait to buy the infant car seat till we need it?

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

as far as stollers , i think you only need 1 besides the snap n go (imo). We ONLY used the snap and go up until about 8 months, now we use the lightweight graco stoller b/c she likes to look out now. I never had or would have used a bigger stroller.

We didn't buy her car seats for 1+ until a few weeks ago (dd is 10 months) But thats really up to you. Do you have extra money on your gc to purchase them, then you should just get them

I'd buy the BOB stroller using the gift cards since it's something you will use sooner rather than later.

If you can get the glider somewhere else cheaper, then def. do that. Even if you had leftover gift cards after you purchase the stroller, save them for diapers, formula, etc.

As for the McClaren, I think you could wait for that since you wont use it right away. You might get more gift cards after the baby is born, and you could purchase it then.

You could hold off on the convertible carseat as well. The boxes for them are huge, and unless you have a lot of storage space, you might want to wait to purchase that until you actually need it.

Are you planning on taking a lot of walks or running with baby in the stroller from the get go? If so, then I'd get the BOB stroller.

If you are planning on a stroller just for errands, the snap and go may be all you need for a while and I'd hold on to the cards until you need a lightweight stroller and/or the next car seat.

I actually would buy the glider.

You can wait to buy another stroller until you are done with the Snap and Go, you will know your needs more by that point and what you really need.

As for the convertible car seat, I didn't register for them even, we got one for Christmas when DS was 8 months old and didn't even use it until he was 10 months +! We didn't buy our second until he was 11 months old! So IMO, you can totally wait for that, I don't even know why people register for them.

We're definitely going to buy a glider, I just want to get it cheaper than BRU has to offer...so I'm gonna shop around...definitely definitely getting a glider

I was debating what to use the gift cards for...the stroller is the other bigger item, and you're right the convertible car seat is later, and I don't know why we registered for it...I guess we were a bit clueless Chat Icon

Does anyone have the BOB revolution?

And I'm guessing I could get diapers and such at cheaper places than BRU, right?
