WWYD: Diaper Coupon?

I hate to lose out on using a coupon on stuff I know I'll need.

I have a coupon (maybe two, can't remember) for Huggies that expires on 11/30. Its for $1.50 off.

We normally buy our diapers at BJs, Walmart, Kmart or Target whoever's cheaper that week.

At last check up she was just a hair under 12lbs (10/23) And we're using Stage 1-2.

Stage 1 is up to 14lbs
Stage 2 is 12lbs - 18lbs
Stage 3 is 16lbs - 28lbs

Last time we bought diapers we got two boxes of Stage 1-2 and one box of Stage 3. Used up all our coupons.

I still have 2 more coupons that expire end of Dec too!

We're on our last box of 1-2 but we still have 2 sleeves left. total of 176 remaining

Do I give away these coupons (which Im willing to do) or do we play it safe and at least get one more box 3 and box of 1-2?

Stage 1-2 box has total 264
Stage 3 box has total 200

Guys.. I go back to work in 3 weeks. That means I'm forking over for the LIRR and the subway again. Its a little over $300, plus Im still SLOWLY paying off the hospital bills at around $400 a month so honestly EVERY SINGLE LAST PENNY COUNTS!

I'll take ANY Suggestions!

Can I confess that I'm boggled? I have severe mommy brain and just don't understand the dilemma? If she's borderline on one size, I'd use the coupons for the next size up, does that make sense?

Buy just the size 2 diapers. I used the size 1-2 box and then moved to Size 2. Size 3 are going to be too big, even though the weight ranges are sort of close.

I would buy whatever size she will be in next...you know you'll always use them

In th "other" category of things, I would get a box of size 2 and a box of size 3.

Honestly, I would figure out about how many she goes through a day and figure how much longer you will get out of what you currently have. And, will you pay for them right away, or charge them? If you don't pay off all of your credit cards, the money you will pay in finance charges will totally offset the $1.50.

I would either go up a size or give the coupons away. I am constantly throwing them out since we get so many and I just don't need them at the time.

there are diaper coupons (especially huggies) in the newsday circulars every sunday, so it's not like they're hard to come by.

i'm a believer in buying what you need when you need it since my DS seems to leak through most diapers. i returned all the huggies i bought because when he got to size 2s, he leaked through them, even though they were fine for 1s. so now i buy a jumbo bag when i'm running low--never ahead of time.

Do you have any stage 2. We used pampers and used 1-2 and then size 2. Or stock up on 3. They stop growing so fast and you will use the bigger sizes longer.
