WWYD Disney Question
We are going for Colin's 1st birthday. I neglected to make reservations for character dining I just called and there is nothing available, of course, on his birthday.
How worth it is the character dining? Would you go to the park on a different day that week just to experience the character dining? (Specifically we'd do Crystal Palace)

Re: WWYD Disney Question
I would not miss the character dining and I am 32!
there are a ton of options though- why dont you try to do a character breakfast- they may have more options available for that

My concern is he naps around 9/9:30AM so we might be pushing our luck with that

Re: WWYD Disney Question
I actually could care less if we do character dining. It's distracting to the kids (who already give me problems with eating) and you can hardly take 2 bites in between characters.
We go every year, though, so I may just be over it. I guess it was fun at first.
We go see all the main characters in toontown and Epcot as well. You can only have so many pics with the same ones.

Re: WWYD Disney Question
I just came back in august and my DD was 18 months at the time. IMO the character breakfasts were the best part. She loved every second of it. The one i liked the best was the Crystal palace one at MK. Good luck!

Re: WWYD Disney Question
Thanks! Well I just called and made reservations for the day before his birthday so we'll see ...I'll hold that for now. Right now he's in the system and hopefully Pooh Bear will be singing Happy 1st to him

I would do the breakfast. Honestly, I'm sure they have reservation around 8AMish, so you could go, and then head back to the hotel for nap time.

Ok, we're booked there for lunch the day before his birthday. I'll keep trying to see if I can catch a cancellation but go d knows he doesn't know when his bday is so I'm sure we're fine to go the day before
