WWYD ?? Disney question sort of....
We are going to Disney in October for a week ( DS is 4 and DD will be 9 months) ....
We also bought tickets to the Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom which is held from 7pm-12am ( they let you in the park at 4pm I believe though)
Heres my question:
My SIL/BIL and nephew(2yo) are going to Disney w/ us...They decided not to bring their DS to the party because they said its too late for him....They offered to stay back at the hotel the night of the party and watch DD for us....
I kind of wanted DD to come with us
( I'm not a stickler to schedule, she would sleep in the stroller I'm pretty sure if she was tired), but at the same time, I was thinking it might be nice for my DS to spend some time with me and DH and have us to himself since its been a long time...Its also his birthday week ....
I always feel so guilty when we do something with one and not the other  , but I know she won't know what she missed and she most likely would sleep through it anyway  We are going to the Magic Kingdom for 1-2 other days, Epcot etc....

Oh, that's a tough one! I'd probably bring her and let her sleep in the stroller. I know what you mean about spending time with just DS, especially since you have a babysitter. But I know my DD (she's 4.5) will ask why I didn't bring DS sometimes when I take her to do something one on one, so I know she'd be sad he wasn't with us for something as exciting as that.

hmmmmmm.....
I think you are going to feel too guilty not taking The Bean with you to the party....
I know you..you are going to look at those pics and not see her there and feel terrible....
Now what you should really do is take your LIF BFF with you to Disney and all your problems would be solved...

Now what you should really do is take your LIF BFF with you to Disney and all your problems would be solved...

Since I skipped the party last year with both my sons and are skipping it again this year when we go, I'd say leave the little one at home since you have the option. I just think they willbe better rested sleeping in a crib over a stroller but maybe that is just how my son is. Last year, my sons were cranky messes but 8ish (and they are both usually 9pm to go to bed kids but Disney is exhausting on them), my little one wouldn't sleep in a stoller more than 20 minutes, the crowds just weren't worth it to us. The little one isn't missing anything (except maybe some cute pictures for you) and if the baby is well rested - it will make for a better next day for you and your family.

No advice - but I wanted to tell you I am EXTREMELY jealous!! I went to the party last year and it was amazing. I am not kidding when I tell you that my DD still talks about it EVERYDAY!! You are going to have a blast!!!!!! Enjoy no matter what you decide. 
ETA - make sure you take some time to rest or nap them in the afternoon. That is what we did and it made for a much better night (my dd was 3 at the time). Also the crowds were really not bad at all when I went (I went halloween night) - so don't worry about that too much.

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom. to this day my DD thinks every hotel has giraffes outside lol.

I agree. We are going in December and have tix for teh very merry christmas party for one night.
DD will be 2, but we will see how she does and take it from there.

We stayed here 3 yrs ago and it was beautiful. I agree to see how the days goes and take it from there. At least you have backup should your DD be tired. When are you going? We will also be there in Oct.

We will be in Disney for both mine and DS's b-day ( 11 &12th)...2 free days in Disney...wooo-hooo !!!

I would have fun with your old child and let them watch the baby. It will give you one onone time and im sure you dont get that often with him. Have fun!!
