First, I feel so badly for your baby ..
but this topic always gets me. I dont understand it.
To me..babies/toddlers/kids bite. It happens, and you cant prevent it IMO. you can try but its gonna happen sometimes.
My son was bit 2x's in his younger years and I never really thought anything about it , other then, ok, he was bit, and I hope he doesnt bite the kid back. I never expected the parent to apologize, isisn't their fault and I never thought badly of the biter.
I think unless you know 100% it is the same kid biting continually , what can you do?
I must be really naive, because I always see these posts and I really dont get what can be done?
But I can sense how upset you are, and I feel badly for you and the baby

I kind of agree. However, I never had to deal with this so maybe if I did I would feel differently.

Re: WWYD if your LO got BIT TWO DAYS IN A ROW at daycare by the same child!!
our center's policy is 1 bite breaking the skin they are sent home, 2 bites not breaking the skin the are sent home, continuous problem and they'll be terminated.....
very scary...... kyle actually just got bitten on him arm a couple weeks ago- right when a new kid started in the room..... the red mark lasted 3 days, then faded away.. i wasn't happy, but it happens, and the place seemed truely concerned, ...... i think the big thing is if it continues to be a problem(because then its like aren't they watching him?) and how severe the bite is.

ITA too...I mean one bite on my son was in school as a toddler, one was at a friends house....so I think the whole daycare dynamic is a bot dofferent, and not sure how I would feel...easy for me to say this now when I'm not 100% in that position or was...
