Stuff is flying off of my registry and my shower invites just went out a week ago -
My Mom called me to tell me I had to 'add some big stuff' to my registry b/c people were calling her saying 'nothing was left' .......... -

My sister told me to add a swing -
Ok, added a swing.
And I also added a lightweight stroller
The Maclaren .....something or other.

I ddint' put the Bugaboo on my registry b/c I felt guilty about putting a $900 stroller on there - DH and I will add it after the shower and buy it for ourselves w/ the 10% registry completion coupon -

But I don't really feel like I NEED anything else upwards of $150 ........ -

I'm EXTREMELY grateful that everyone is SO overly generous, but I feel like it's wasteful to register for stuff just for the sake of registering ...........WWYD ?

Is there a way to add 'Giftcards Welcome' to yoru registry or something ??

I'd put the option for gift cards...that's what I'd really want....I wouldn't put random stuff or extra stuff just to have more....it probably will end up being a waste (I did this for my bridal shower and wish I hadn't)

Do you have the convertiable car seat on there? Put the bugaboo, if you want it, people might go in together to get that for you, and if they don't then you can use the 10% coupon.

I did put something like "gift cards are appreciated". If you are registered somewhere that will take returns without a receipt (BBB maybe?) then add stuff there and you can always return it for gift cards.

I did put some things on my registry I wasn't sure about and then brought them back when my friend dug her stuff out and lent them to me. BRU took returns without receipts back then, though.

I was thrilled when someone gave me a $100 gift card, but I think most people want to give gifts. In the future, I think I will lean more towards giving gift cards myself.
