WWYD....Christmas Card Related...(long) with Poll

Okay so after speaking with the card company they have offered to refund half my money (I ordered over 250 cards and I paid 175.00 + tax+Shipping totaled out to almost 200.00.) I spoke to DH and told him we are getting 87.50 back and that I planned to order new cards and he asked if I was crazy??? Yes we are trying so hard to save money. We are trying to buy a house in the next year, and we have alot of birthdays coming our way. Plus Christmas, and Andrews christening it's alot of $$$!!! Add in postage for the cards and I see his pointChat Icon ! I can't see investing anymore in "CARDS" something that most people toss at the end of the holidays. He suggested mailing out the cards we have because while the background maybe terrible the picture itself is great. He said to send out a mass email explaining the cards weren't done to our standard and that we hope everyone enjoys the picture because ultimately that's what we did it for. I really want to redo it because I hate it, but can't see putting anymore money into this. I mean add in postage, and address labels, plus the specialty cards I buy for his family and mine in addition to these printed ones, that I make personal, we're talking major Chat Icon !!! (Oh and ps I freaked because I thought our list was long at 75 people. We had to send to all the people DH works with which almost quadrupled our list. Because almost all of them sent us baby cards, and holiday cards)Chat Icon So WWYD?

I chose other...

I would get them back on the phone requesting a FULL REFUND and continue to escalate the call to a supervisor or manager until this occurs. You agreed to pay them for a product that was approved by you and agreed to pay for the product that looks like what you have approved. They haven't provided that to you and you are obligated to a full refund.

Based on their website they agree to offer a full refund. End of story.

Their Guarantee

Then you should re-order with Costco or whomever you choose Chat Icon

I would probably order new ones from someplace cheap like Costco. But I would also not accept less then half of what you paid.Chat Icon Did you speak to a manager because that's cr@ppy customer service, IMO.

Being that Christmas is around the corner I would order new cards immediately from another site, like shutterfly or tinyprints...

and like PP's said, DEMAND a full refund.

I spoke to a manager and the said that they reprinted for me and it still wasn't to "my" standard and I should be thankful to get anything back at all because I requested not to print a THIRD time!!! I am writing a letter to corporate as we speak!! I just can't see flushing any more money on this!! I totally wanna cry over this because I know if I order from somwhere else DH is gunna be P ISSED at me. And I don't blame him. But I just hate that we could be sending out these cards. I feel like no matter which way I go I'm wrong. Chat Icon

Call back and demand to speak with that manager's superisor. There has to be someone higher up then him. How dare he speak to you that way?! It its THEIR problem that they needed to reprint at all. If they had done it correctly the first time, there would have neer been an issue. They need to give you a FULL refund and don't you hang up with them until they do.

Knowing me, if I really didn't like the cards, I would order new ones.

I just ordered from Vistaprint and got 100 cards and return address labels for $50.

I chose free shipping which is 14 days and which will get me to right before Christmas, but Expedited shipping would cost you another $20 if you wanted them sooner.

Not sure of the quality since this is my first time ordering from them but it was very easy to use and custom tailor.
