WWYD...Travel related
So my brother called up to tell me he is getting married in Denver Aug 21..... Now here is the problem the triplets will be 13 months old and I would love for them to be at their Uncles wedding but how the heck do I fly with 3 kids?? My Mom and Aunt are going so they could help but can I rent car seats when I get there for the rental car??? DH suggested we drive but I am not being in the car for 2 days with the kids. I am so confused bc I want to go but I am VERY hesistitant about leaving my kids home with DH and MIL who MIGHT help out.... This is going to be a disaster not mater what I chose to do. I just need to hear some input from other moms. TIA

well, I'm not in your shoes, and I'm sure it will be difficult, but with your aunt & moms help (and DH I would gather) I would attempt to bring them. You're gonna have to travel with them eventually.
I would also call car rental places out there and see if they have any arrangements with car seats.

If you have AAA, I believe they do car seat rentals as well.

Can I ask why you wouldn't bring the carseats with you? Most airlines will gate check them for free. You may get lucky and have some empty spots on the plane and then they will let you bring the car seats on board.

You can do car seat rentals.. it'll be easier for you. AAA does do give a discount for it, I believe.
As for the flying part, I have flown solo with 3 before (not all the same age, but still nutty).. So long as you have help, I think it'll be fine.
Just relax.. It'll all be okay!

BC I am to lazy to take them out of my car...... I think it would be just to much stuff to take and then I have to pay for their seats as well. I did look into car rentals and they do have seats I could rent. The more I think about this the more crazy it gets. I will be spending alot of money for 4 days and thinking its not worth it. I might just leave the kiddies at home and go myself.

Re: WWYD...Travel related
I would go and fly. All car rental places have carseats...That wont be an issue. It wont be too bad at all. They will probably be tired from the commotion and nap for a portion of it. Can you afford, one extra seat, just in case it gets too crowded holding them?>
